Imagine the smiles, the excitement, the memories made–those are the moments you’ll share at Girl Scouts.

Make Every Day Her Best Day Ever!

It starts with one day, one meeting, and one role model that shows her she can accomplish more than she ever imagined. In Girl Scouts, we want every girl to feel so excited about her future that she can hardly wait for it, because she knows she can achieve anything she sets her mind to. That feeling starts with you!

Volunteers are the heart and soul of Girl Scouting. As a Girl Scout volunteer, you’ll add meaning to girls’ lives and to your own. Tackle everything from global warming to election reform. Travel to incredible places. Share your personal passions and create experiences together you’ll never forget. You can give an hour, a day, or more, depending on your schedule.

You don’t have to have a child;
you simply need to have been one.

Never been a Girl Scout? It’s not too late. Although many parents and guardians get involved in Girl Scouting with their daughters, Girl Scout volunteers come from all walks of life. We’re looking for adults 18 years of age or older who believe in girls and represent the diversity of the world we live in—women, men, young adults (including those with no children), working professionals, young-at-heart retirees, people of all racial and ethnic backgrounds, and of course our treasured alumnae.

Think it’s a full-year commitment? Think again.

There are now several ways for you to get involved, simply by matching your expertise, skills, interests, and life experiences to the opportunities available. Whether you choose to work directly or indirectly with girls, on a short- or long-term basis, you will get all the instruction, guidance and support you need to fulfill the responsibilities of your volunteer role. You’ll be making a lasting impact on the lives of young girls and have lots of fun doing it. Click here for a listing of the volunteer opportunities available to you.
